The count down of days until I leave for the South has begun!!! 15 Days until May! For all those chomping at the bit for TN Ren to begin!!! I have 32 Days until I am off and driving to happier places. The NorEaster trying to blow the shutters off my house is only making me wish I'd left already. I want warmth and fresh air! Almost everything is set for my trip. I have only a few things left to do. Packing is one of them. Changing the oil in my Jeep is another. Could someone remove the NorEaster so I don't drown under the Jeep. I'm changing the oil before I leave no matter what.
For all those planning on meeting up with me for Ette Tu... ARE YOU READY YET???? I'll have the final itinerary within the next two weeks. But I believe it's pretty much set as it is. Only a few miner adjustments, such as actual meeting times to be taken care of. I'd seriously like to thank Cardinal Palpatine. Lady Nicolette, and Brenda for everything you three have helped me with! And add a mention of appreciation to Wenchie, Athena, Festmum, and Esc for all the encouragement and teasing that only added to my instigation of things. You all have been the very best I could ever ask for these past several months! And pretty soon I'll be able to give ya'll hugs in person! You guys know this past winter has been a trying one for me, with a dash of 'scared as hell' tossed in for good measure. Thanks for sticking with me through it all! *HUG*

As faire season slowly approaches, I guess it's time I post the tentative list of what faires you might catch me at this year.

NPRF {Was GPRF~ Since my favorite faire has reopened, I'll show up at some point!}
MDRF {most likely on Labor Day weekend with some of the Northeast Ettes}
Huge maybe is GLMF {They've been trying to get me there for 2 years now. Lol We'll see.}
So far, that's all I'm thinking about or planning for. Depending on life's lovely road blocks and potholes, we'll see where I show up at. After all, I am a Gypsy, we'll see where the wind blows me.
I guess it's about time I properly introduce myself.
Hello! I have a few names. The most common are either Fairyfly {on www.renaissancefestival.com} or LadyPanther {everywhere else}. I started out working at a RenFaire in the Pocono Mts., PA back in 1994. It was the best time of my life. I learned a lot about faire and about myself. My first faire name was Christianna Molina macLir. Say that 10 times fast. Lol I was not in cast, but the faire encouraged everyone to have a character. My friends helped to solidify the character with a background. She was of Irish decent {who'd have guessed}, but as a baby was stolen from her parents by a traveling band of Greek Gypsies and raised by the merchant, Nota. What I've kept from that first character is the free spirit of Gypsy. I have never been any other type of character at faire. Gypsy is just who and what I am. My favorite job at faire was being a gamer. Any guesses what my favorite game to play is? Tee hee
Now I attend faires as a Playtron. And can be found mainly over at R/F.com, where I'm a Moderator, and EtteMum to the DebaucheTeers and DeBaucherEttes. My character on R/F is a Gypsy Fairy named Fairyfly. I have yet to introduce her at faire. The Teers and Ettes is a private group that formed out of the R/F chat room and has grown significantly in the last year. Current members vote in new members and the fun begins there. Although we have a bunch of friends who come out and play with us at the faires our members attend. Last year was the first annual Ette Invasion held at TN Ren on Memorial Day Weekend. It was such a blast it became an annual event with this years event being called Ette Tu. We have people from more then 6 states coming to play at faire with us. All are welcome to join in the fun! I'm shy and quiet when you first meet me, but I eventually warm up and soon enough I'm smiling and laughing and just having fun. I'm addicted to music and life. If I'm not at the games, you'll find me listening to a band, or watching a juggling act. I'm also a bit on the gothic side, which you can find on MySpace.com. Here on RenSpace you'll find the combination of my sides between Gypsy Fairy and Goth Chick, though leaning more on the Gypsy Fairy side. Lol I think MySpace has enough of the Goth side. Beware, Fairies are still known to bite though. ;D
